fundraising

At MACS, both staff and children regularly fundraise for many different charities. In the past, we organised Bake Sales, Raffles, Walkathons, Charity Calendars and many more fun activities to raise money for worth causes. Charities that children have nominated for MACS to raise funds for have included Children In Need, Brightest Star, Red Nose Day, Sports Relief, Dog Trust amongst others.

A cause very close to the hearts of MACS is the Bluebell Charity.  We have supported this charity in memory of our colleague Lisa Murray.  Along with Lisa's family and friends, MACS has helped to raise over £14,000 since July 2015 to support the work of Bluebell providing counselling (free of charge) for parents affected by ante/post natal depression (PND).  We will continue to support this cause in memory of Lisa with the aim being to raise enough funds for a new hub to support families in the South side of Glasgow.  Lisa had a passion for making a difference in the lives of staff, children and the parent's at MACS and we want her legacy to continue to do that.
